Talk to us about a study How it works

12

phases, each with a decision gate

5

the smallest group ever reported

0

individual answers that reach the client

Method: twelve phases, and a gate before each step

Every study starts from a decision and ends in an aggregate report. No phase begins before the previous gate is passed.

  1. 1

    Brief

The decision the study supports is written down and agreed.

  2. 2

    Ideation and scope

The scope, and what is out of it, is signed off.

  3. 3

    Research design

Population, reporting threshold and anonymity model are set.

  4. 4

    Questionnaire content

Every question has a decision, a scale and a sensitivity level.

  5. 5

    Specification review

All blocking issues are resolved and logged.

  6. 6

    Platform choice

A test from the respondents’ real network passes.

  7. 7

    Build

Question counts match the spec and routing passes in preview.

  8. 8

    QA and pilot

Acceptance criteria pass, or a limit is accepted in writing.

  9. 9

    Launch

The live page opens from the respondents’ networks.

  10. 10

    Collection

Daily monitoring until the close date.

  11. 11

    Analysis and reporting

The reporting checklist passes, with a second person’s check.

  12. 12

    Handover and closure

Outputs are delivered and the data retention rule is applied.

Privacy you can see

A group with fewer than five answers folds into a single line in the report. No number, no hint. Change the count and watch.

  • No group with fewer than 5 valid answers is shown on its own; it is merged or hidden.
  • If a hidden group could be worked out from a total, a second group is hidden too.
  • Sensitive questions are reported for the whole organisation only.
  • Free text is cleaned of names and identifying detail before any report.
  • Raw data stays with the analyst; the client sees aggregate results only.
